From Surprise to Staple – Jeremy Koling on his AEGAON watch

When Jeremy Koling walked off the Superstar Challenge stage at the 2024 European Disc Golf Festival, he thought the oversized check was the prize. Turns out, that was just the beginning.

“I was completely surprised,” he said. “I didn’t even know we were playing for anything.” It wasn’t until Nate Sexton, playing on the opposing team, gave him a heads-up before the final that something might be on the line. Fast-forward to post-win: Koling’s team opens up their prize bags and finds boxes with AEGAON written on them.

“I had no clue what AEGAON was,” Koling admits. “But I opened it up and it was one of the sickest watches I’ve ever seen.”

Since then, the Estonian-designed watch has basically lived on his wrist — minus a short detour when a clasp broke and he handed it off to Silver Lätt to bring back to AEGAON HQ in Estonia for repairs. “Customer service is at the top level, for sure. Definitely helps having Estonian friends when you’re wearing an Estonian watch.”

The watch in question? Sporty but dressy, big-faced but not over-the-top. “It just fits me,” says Koling. “It works when I’m throwing discs, and it works when I’m out to dinner. I’ve even had people on Jomez comment asking if it’s a Richard Mille.”

And while four more players picked up AEGAON watches after this year’s Superstar Challenge, Jeremy’s staying loyal to his original. “I want to see the ones they won, but I wouldn’t change mine for the world.”

Big love to AEGAON for standing by us two years in a row and for making watches that turn heads and spark conversations, both on and off the course.
